Mayor Bramwell Harker is a stout, gray-haired man in his late fifties whose measured speech and stubborn patience have carried Westbridge through poor harvests, floods, and raids. Once a farmer and livestock trader, he understands how quickly a broken bridge or an unsafe road can threaten the village’s livelihood. Bramwell spends much of his time settling disputes, organizing repairs, and making certain the militia has enough willing hands to answer the warning bell. He treats strangers cautiously but judges them by their conduct, readily seeking help from capable adventurers when danger exceeds what his neighbors can manage. Though he dislikes admitting how little support reaches Westbridge from elsewhere in Keoland, he takes his responsibility seriously and knows most of the village’s three hundred residents by name.
